Jaguar Land Rover came to us with an exciting opportunity to soundtrack their retail locations around the world.
Their background music couldn’t be dull, predictable or overly commercial - that would give their clients the wrong impression. They are a modern, luxury brand and their playlists needed to reflect that.
The music had to be available and suitable globally, perfectly suited for the brand, playable via their existing speakers, and come alongside great support.
This is how we do it.
First off, the music. We made sure the playlists were unique - the soundtracks were designed from scratch to centre entirely around the values of the Jaguar Land Rover brands. One size definitely does not fit all when it comes to the sound of your brand, so why settle for a generic solution?
We also made sure they were science-backed, of course. Our professional music curators used behavioural science to back the design of the playlists, so the music didn’t only sound perfectly polished, but also put prospective customers in the right frame of mind to purchase.
And, the playlists were scheduled for the Jaguar Land Rover sites, ready to go when they first logged in to Startle. Their music is managed completely, allowing them to focus on running the retail locations, without worrying that the next song might not do their atmosphere justice.
